Dear Friends & Potential Friends,
I write this letter in hopes that you are ok or semi-ok. I write to discuss the topic of, “being taken advantage of”. A topic that is sometimes too embarrassing to admit or ask to stop. However, this is a topic that must be addressed.

If I stop letting you take advantage of me, will you hate me and call me monster ? If I say in debt and need a win win, will you hate me and call me monster ? If I stop being your little bitch will you hate me and call me monster ?

For many years we have been taken advantage of and abused as a country. We keep our mouth shut, one President of the United States of America right after another. Why should we say anything, after all it’s not that bad is it ? Being taken advantage of is not about Republicans or Democrats, it’s about no more. We are in debt, the United States of America is in debt. Some of that debt is because we have kept our mouth shut and silently obeyed when countries say, “you pay us __ tariffs.” We, the United States of America have been borrowing money to pay our debts. As previously stated, it’s not about Republicans or Democrats it is about fair trade, fair tariffs. Therefore, I am proud of President Trump for taking the initiative to ensure for the United States of America fair trade, long overdue tariffs update.

Reciprocal Tariffs are necessary in the year 2025 and long overdue. It makes no sense to continue to keep our mouth shut. We are the United States of America, we are not a country of “take advantage of us and we will keep our mouth shut.” When I first heard of President Trump proposing reciprocal tariffs, my first impression was “long overdue.” Trade is an essential part of an economy. However, fair trade is long lasting and helps both countries.

In Conclusion, we are taught as children “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Unfortunately not all countries go by that same philosophy. We pay the country of Vietnam 90% tariffs for whatever they receive from the USA. Therefore, does charging the country of Vietnam 46% tariffs for what they send to the USA seem unfair ? The answer is No. We pay the country of rich Switzerland 61% tariffs for whatever they receive from the USA. Therefore, does charging the country of Switzerland 31% tariffs for what they send to the USA seem unfair ? The answer is No. The complete list of tariffs is below.

Don’t hate the United States of America because say no more and want to make this trade a win win situation. A win win situation where each country benefits from trade.
